Why this matters for Coimbatore
City marathons have become a regular part of Coimbatore’s weekend calendar, drawing recreational runners, veterans and first-time 5K participants from across the district. A CDAA-approved race with chip timing and medical cover gives local athletes a structured road event without travelling to larger metros. The 7th edition also continues Kovaion’s “Every Mile Educates” message — pairing fitness with a community cause under the #ODALAMUNGA campaign.
