Coimbatore, July 14: A special private-sector employment fair will be held in the city on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the premises of the District Employment and Vocational Guidance Centre. The fair begins at 10:00 AM and is open to job seekers across qualification levels.
The district administration organises these fairs on the third Friday of every month, bringing multiple private companies under one roof to fill vacancies across sectors. Entry is free and there is no upper age limit for participation.
Who can attend
Candidates who have completed any of the following are eligible to walk in:
- SSLC (10th standard)
- Higher Secondary (12th standard)
- University degree
- ITI
- Diploma
- Engineering
Applicants should carry a résumé and copies of educational certificates.
100+ nursing vacancies
District Collector officials have highlighted that more than 100 nursing positions are among the openings at this fair. Qualified nursing candidates are especially encouraged to attend.
On-the-spot appointment orders
Selected candidates may receive immediate appointment orders at the venue. Participating in this private-sector fair will not cancel a candidate's existing registration with the government employment exchange — both can run in parallel.
